The LiveAMP story
LiveAMP is one of the highly regarded music rehearsal studios in Singapore servicing local & foreign musicians and music enthusiasts living in Singapore. The company was founded out of passion and love of music by brothers Ernest and Roland Diano. Sons of the late Minister Ernesto N. Diano (Consul in Singapore during the 90’s), they have been exposed to music since childhood singing and playing instruments like guitar and piano at their hometown in Marikina, Philippines. During their “teen-age” years, they dreamt of being able to outfit their bedroom with band equipment and eventually form a band. In the pursuit of degrees (Ernest is a Certfied Mechinical Engineer while Roland is a Certified Public Accountant) and their respective careers, their music dream was put to a hold. In late 2009, the brothers re-discovered their passion for music. Roland started to write songs and Ernest, together with close friends, started to jam along. They started to rent studios around Chinatown area to conduct their band rehearsals. Soon they realized that there is much need to create a better environment for artists or would-be artists to inspire them to achieve extraordinary feats in Singapore music scene. Out of this vision, the brothers conceptualized LiveAMP studios. LiveAMP was officially opened to customers on 31st July 2010. Later that year, the two brothers formed their own band named “Chasing Frequency” – childhood dreams realised.
